Less fuss and less bother as public transport delivers you right to your cinema seat

The Northwest Switzerland tariff network and Basel’s Pathé cinemas have joined forces to take more of the strain out of visiting the cinema: the next ticket you buy for an upcoming big screen feature will also be valid to take you from wherever you live to the cinema and back home again.

From now on, a special code will be printed on your “Kinoticket” which, when entered into the "TNW Tickets" app, automatically validates your return journey to the cinema. This new combined ticket is unique in Switzerland and underscores TNW’s commitment to transport innovation.

A ticket validated for public transport entitles you to a 2nd class round trip throughout the entire TNW area – by tram, bus or train. It is valid on the day of the event from 4 hours before the start of the film to 6 hours afterwards or until public transport finishes for the day. The public transport option can only be validated by smartphone via the "TNW Tickets" app.

Further information can be found on the participating cinema homepage from Pathé Kino Basel.
