Changes at BLT

General

The timetable change brings new bus routes (49, 56, 63), more frequent services, and better connections. 

Changes to Network per line

 

BLT tram network

Line E11 will be renamed route 12. The route will remain unchanged. 

 

BLT bus network – Basel agglomeration 

Bus line 37 (Basel Bahnhof SBB – Münchenstein Bahnhof)
Adjustment of the line in Basel-Stadt to the SBB Bahnhof (previously Aeschenplatz) and in Basel-Landschaft to Münchenstein Bahnhof (previously Dornach Bahnhof). The section between Münchenstein Bahnhof and Dornach Bahnhof will be served by the new line 63.

Bus line 49 (Therwil Lindenfeld – Basel Bachgraben)
The new bus line 49 takes over part of line 64 from Basel Bachgraben – Oberwil Gymnasium and now serves the residential area between Oberwil Hüslimatt via Therwil Wilacker – Blumenrain – Zentrum – Löwenkreisel to Therwil Lindenfeld.

Bus line 56 (Dornach Bahnhof – Arlesheim Dorf)
The new bus line 56 runs from Dornach Bahnhof to Arlesheim Dorf and takes over the previous section of bus line 65, which will serve the shortened route Pfeffingen Bergmattenweg – Dornach Bahnhof from the timetable change.

Bus line 58 (Münchenstein Schlossmatt – Reinach Bruggrain)
Der bisherige Ortsbus Münchenstein ist neu im Generellen Leistungsauftrag (GLA) enthalten und verkehrt von Münchenstein Schlossmatt kommend ab Münchenstein Bahnhof neu via Arlesheim Untere Weide (uptownBasel) und durch die Reinacher Wohnquartiere Reinacherhof, Habsmatte und Rebberg via Reinach Dorf ins Industriequartier Kägen bis zur Haltestelle Bruggrain.

Bus line 60 (Biel-Benken Brücke – Muttenz Industriepark)
The 15-minute interval will be extended daily until 9:00 p.m. and introduced earlier on Sunday mornings (now from 10:00 a.m., previously from 12:00 p.m.).

Bus line 61 (Oberwil Zentrum – Allschwil Letten)
The bus line will be shortened and will now run between Oberwil Zentrum and Allschwil Letten (previously Allschwil Friedhof). BVB bus line 38 will be extended from Basel Bachgraben to Allschwil Friedhof.

Bus line 62 (Biel-Benken Brücke – Dornach Bahnhof)
The bus will now only run from Monday to Friday. The Saturday service will be discontinued.

Bus line 63 (Münchenstein Bahnhof – Aesch Bahnhof)
The new bus line will run during peak hours from Monday to Friday between Münchenstein Bahnhof via Dornach Bahnhof – Reinach Kägen – Aesch Soleil and Aesch Bahnhof.

Bus line 64 (Dornach Bahnhof – Oberwil Gymnasium)
The bus line will be shortened and will now run to Oberwil Gymnasium. The route from Oberwil Gymnasium to Basel Bachgraben will be operated by the new bus line 49. BVB bus line 48 will be extended from Basel Bachgraben to Bahnhof St. Johann.

Buslinie 65 (Pfeffingen Bergmattenweg – Dornach Bahnhof)
The bus line will be shortened and will now run between Pfeffingen Bergmattenweg and Dornach Bahnhof. The section between Dornach Bahnhof and Arlesheim Dorf will be served by the new bus line 56.

Buslinie 66 (Ortsbus Dornach)
The service will be expanded to run every half hour due to changes in the arrival/departure times of the S3.

 

BLT bus network – Oberes Baselbiet

Bus line 92+93 (Hölstein – Liedertswil + Lampenberg – Lausen)
The on-demand service “Pick-e-Ride” will be extended to all weekdays. An on-time timetable will be offered for schoolchildren and commuters from Monday to Friday.

Bus line 105 (Ortsbus Sissach – Thürnen)
The local bus now runs every 30 minutes. The route runs exclusively clockwise and reinforces line 108 by extending it to Thürnen. The line from Sissach Bahnhof to Gelterkinden is now operated by Postauto AG.

Bus line 106 (Sissach – Wintersingen)
The 30-minute interval will be extended to all peak times. During off-peak times in the evening, a 60-minute interval will be offered throughout. On-demand trips to Nusshof are now included in the regular service.

Bus line 107 (Sissach – Eptingen)
The 30-minute interval service runs continuously on Saturdays and Sundays and in the evenings during off-peak hours.

Bus line 108 (Sissach – Wittinsburg)
The 60-minute interval will be extended to cover the entire off-peak period (8 p.m. – 11 p.m.).

Bus line 110 (Rümlingen - Läufelfingen)
The line will be expanded to include evening service, ensuring access to Häfelfingen in the evening hours. The line will run alternately from Rümlingen to Läufelfingen via Bad Ramsach and, every other half hour, from Buckten Bahnhof to Känerkinden and Wittinsburg, thus supplementing the service offered by line 108.
