Day Tickets

With the day ticket, you can make as many journeys as you like throughout the day within the zones covered by the ticket.

Day tickets purchased in advance must be validated digitally in the app or at the designated ticket machines before starting the first journey.
The day ticket is valid until 5.00 am on the following day.
Multi-day tickets (2-day and 7-day tickets) are valid from the time of validation for the corresponding uninterrupted period of validity.
Day tickets are not valid for cross-border travveling.

«Basel» Day Ticket (The Greater Basel area)

For unrestricted journeys within TNW zones 10, 11, 13 (EuroAirport), 14 and 15 buy a «Basel» Day Ticket.

«TNW» Day Ticket (covering the entire TNW network)

«TNW» Day Ticket is valid without restriction throughout all zones in the whole TNW network.

A Day Ticket for the entire TNW area is worthwhile for adults travelling five zones or more, or seven zones or more at the reduced fare, if you return on the same day (after the 2-hour validity period of the single ticket has expired).

The multi-day ticket (6-day multipack)

Day tickets are also available as convenient multi-day tickets for 6 individual days. The multi-day ticket expires after one year.

The 1-day ticket "TNW" or "Basel" can be purchased digitally via the apps («TNW Tickets»; «öV Plus»), SBB Internet and SBB Mobile. It is also available at all sales offices, ticket machines and from bus staff at BLT, PostAuto and AutoBus AG .

The 2-day and 7-day tickets can only be purchased at all sales offices, ticket machines or via the SBB app.
