Validity of RVL subscriptions and RegioCard in the TNW

RVL subscription

The RVL annual subscriptions have additional validity in TNW zones 10 and 40, i.e. they are recognized as a ticket. This includes the following subscriptions:

• meinRVL Abo (subscription for adults)
• meinRVL SeniorenABO (subscription for senior)
• RVL-JugendticketBW (subscription for young adults)
• JobCard subscription
• JobTicket-BW subscription

The following conditions apply: RVL annual subscriptions, which are sold to holders residing in Germany by the RVL and which entitle to travel in the zones of validity in the RVL, are also valid in TNW zones 10 and 40 if they are issued in plastic card format with the owner's name printed on them.

RegioCard month and year

RegioCard monthly and annual passes as well as the SchülerRegioCard monthly are valid in the TNW on the tram 6, tram 8, bus 38 and bus 55 between the border and Basel-Claraplatz and in Rheinfelden-CH on the bus 7312 if they are personalized (first and last name of the holder noted on the back of the card with permanent ink or entered by hand).

Transferability and entrainment of children

In contrast to the validity in the RVL, the RegioCard subscriptions are only valid for the holder in zones 10 and 40 of the TNW, they are not transferable and do not entitle you to take children with you.

The RegioCard monthly and annual passes are only valid on the designated TNW lines for the holder noted on the back, they are not transferable and do not entitle you to take children with you.

The validity on mutual recognition of the RVL subscriptions and the RVL season cards monthly and annual in the respective area of the TNW is definitly introduced as of 12.12.2021.
