TNW lines on weekend nights

Off through the night

Night owls can safely leave their cars or bicycles at home: The tariff association Tarifverbund Nordwestschweiz offers attractive connections on weekend nights (Fri./Sat. and Sat./Sun.). You can travel safely and cheaply throughout the region trams, buses and trains. Check your connection in the online timetable before departure. The service after midnight can be used with a normal ticket or with the U-Abo subscription without a supplement.

Spezial operation

Before or during various public holidays or special events (e.g. carnival, Easter, Ascension Day, national holidays, Christmas and New Year's Eve), the regular daytime lines either run longer or special timetables apply. Please always consult the online timetable.

Safety

Passengers using the Night Network services can feel safe in the knowledge that the TNW ensures that all security staff are fully trained.
These specialist security teams are responsible for patrolling passenger compartments of the buses, trains and trams that criss-cross the TNW network.

Fares

As with normal daytime services, passengers will need to carry a valid TNW ticket when travelling on the TNW Night Network - no night surcharge is levied.
