Online timetable

The BVB timetable app

The online timetable is the ideal travel planner.
It’s so easy going from door to door when all you have to do is input your address (or location) and the destination.

Let’s take an excursion to the Museum of Musical Instruments as an example:

FROM: Wettsteinplatz, Basel

TO: Bollhübel 1, Seewen

The app shows all your connections. Also, you can see an overview map simply by clicking on the blue square (in front of the town name).

Use the keywords BVB, Basel & Regio, the app can be downloaded free of charge in the App Store (for Apple iOS) on Google Play (for Android) and in the Windows Phone Store (for Windows 8 phones and Windows Tablets).

BLT “Abfahrten” (Departures) app

The BLT app allows you to plan your public transport needs accurately.

The "Abfahrten" app delivers all public transport departure times in north-west Switzerland directly to your mobile device. The app is a powerful tool when you’re out and about and it’s easy to use as well. It doesn’t matter if there aren’t digital information screens where you are; this independent app tells you when you can catch the next bus or tram at any time.

Public transport provided by BLT, BVB, AAGL (Autobus AG Liestal) and PostAuto are available in real time. They are labelled RT (Realtime). It is planned to extend this real-time feature to all public transport in the future.

SBB Mobile: the digital travel companion

SBB Mobile has been completely overhauled, including a fresh, new interface. Get to your destination with a couple of mouse clicks: simply choose the tile displaying your departure point, do the same for the destination, and the SBB Mobile display shows your connection. No more tedious inputting of text. By activating the travel companion function, critical information about the connection is shown in real time on the smartphone both before and during your journey. For tickets costing less than 40 francs, you don’t even need a password. What’s more, the app even allows you to buy tickets for your fellow travellers.
